ABOUT CAMANO ISLAND
Only an hour and a half from both Seattle and the Canadian border, Camano Island is the best kept secret in the Pacific Northwest. With no ferry needed, it is a convenient getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As soon as you cross the bridge, you have officially escaped to island living complete with island vibes.
Camano Island has pristine shorelines, visiting whales and soaring bald eagles. There are two State Parks on Camano Island both with beach access and walking trails. Camano Island State Park also has a boat launch. Camano’s waters are rich with Dungeness crab and beach combing experiences on Camano never disappoint; there is always something new to discover.
Camano Island feels far away from everyday life yet is close to all amenities. With restaurants, shops, bakeries, and grocery stores, you don’t have to leave Camano during your stay if you don’t want to…and our guess is that once you are here, you won’t want to!
Camano has community parks, public beaches, boat rentals, boat launches, restaurants, a zip lining course, and axe throwing just to name a few activities available on the island. You will not run out of things to do and see on Camano Island.
Visit to relax and watch the amazing sunsets, look for whales and watch the eagles and blue Herons soar overhead or come for an adventure, or maybe a bit of both. You can do it all on Camano Island. It really is quite magical.
